Artist's Comments

Painting that I had actually finished back in January, but couldn't post because I had to wait for the art show to open...

Been working a lot lately with themes surrounding love and lust, which has also been taking an impact on my colour schemes ~ generally a little more feminine... Though, I still can't resist keeping something of a dark undertone ;D

18x24", oil on canvas

my other account:iconai-chihuahua:
I like this a lot better than the other cherry one. I know they mustn't be related other than in name since the other is a study for a painting you are about to do and this one was done a while back. By the way is this one oil too?

Also I have a criticism for once, I think if you cut a bit of canvas off of the southwest (left and bottom) it would help balance this composition more.
I really like this one. It strikes me as different from most of your paintings.

Of course I'm out of my mind. It's dark and scary in there.

Blue lady....
Love the eyes, very sexy!!!!
love...lust...dark undertones...well...there's that thin line between love & obsession, pursuit & stalking, a kiss & a bite...

I'm loving the moodiness of this piece and the subtle hints of possible allegory. Nice work, especially for traditional medium.

Oh, the other one was a study for this work, I just forgot to mention that detail in the description. But I agree, I like this one more as well ^__^

And yes, it was painted in oils. Should post that right not in the info ; P
