To say the least, I like
For me, I feel like the axe with the tree cut down in the background by the boat symbolizes how we loose pieces of nature to often build and modernize things. However, there are so many ways one could try and interpret it ^u^ As someone earlier mentioned, that's one of the great qualities of this picture. <3
But what I like the most about this picture is that it's also a little bit misterious. Why is that woman sad? What is she doing in such a place, dressed like that, with an axe on her? Where is she going (or coming from)? I've got the feeling that if you stare at this for long enough, you could imagine a whole story about her.
