With this work and many of the works I've been producing lately (though, that would be the paintings you haven't seen yet), there has been some sort of tension between life and death: an inclination to believe something rotten is about to happen.
The title is also meant to establish that sort of mood -- if you traveled to the edge of the world, would you simply go back or finish the journey? With the edge of the world being suggested as an urban landscape, there is more to be taken from that scenario as well...
