Have had this pregnant figure in mind for awhile now (at least a couple of years), so I randomly decided to let it out. Can't say it's the most interesting image I've made, but I like her lonely-determination and the defensive/nurturing kind of pose.

something about the very toothy creature on the dress...she's protecting the unborn child now...but the toothy figure seems to foreshadow a time when the child wont need protecting...

I see more intensity of expression in your newly submitted pieces.
I don't think this one is uninteresting in the slightest. I've been trying to figure out her eyes, she looks almost irritated.

I think it is interesting, for the same reason as the other new one - the muted palette (except for the gem colour) almost feels like a contradiction to the natural awe and excitement inherent with pregnancy. I don't know if this was intentional on these pieces but it works brilliantly. :+fav:
