Another work involving my plug symbolism -- working more with atmosphere than with specific themes, I wanted to portray something cold, sexual and mechanical. Something to reflect what I think about our media. The title suggests more along those lines as well...

I wondered how you procede with the paint; do you first paint everything in black and white and after it dries, you add the color?
Cold, sexual and mechanical, I think you succeeded in all three. Her blank expression is ironic in the warmth of the red backgound, and her healthy pink colouring. I find this is one of your better uses of the plug symbol as well, it seems as though she's offering herself for us to "plug in". Machine sex, I'll bet the media is into that...
