Artist's Comments

The Beatles put it nicely by saying "All you need is love". This painting takes that theme and mixes it in with all the modern chaos that makes us feel so lost.
An older painting of mine called "The Abyss" touches on similar ideas with the use of random furniture and objects appearing in the background to symbolize being "somewhere and nowhere" at the same moment. I often paint fish to represent people, so this seemed suitable -- as well the fact that one of my pet fish recently passed away ;`[

Title came afterwards and was inspired by the song "Somebody to Love", by Queen and Jefferson Airplane. Here is a link to the queen lyrics:
