School project focusing on opposites using a dip-tych format.
Mine was between childhood and adulthood (or at least growing older), using my Tea Party imagery as the vehicle. One very stern and stable, while on the side of childhood things are wild and free. I used the cool colours for childhood in order to give it a feel of being frozen in time. Also took it as an opportunity to play with textures and style ^__^ Acrylic on canvas, 16x20" (x2) Daily DeviationGiven 2007-04-04When faced with a gallery this rich in colour, texture, technique and subject, it certainly isn't an easy task, nor is it possible to choose which painting in the 'best', but rather I had to stick with what stood out to me. Tea Party Girl by ~TeaPartyGirl is a fine example of this very talented artist's ability to express memory, emotion and to evoke the same in her viewers.
